hmmmmmm

Rebeca got an e-mail today from a woman (same name as my mom!) who thinks that Isa and Maya may be her sons' half sibs.  Unsure of what to do now....

For starters, beyond just curiosity, why does this woman want to know? Does she want contact? Does she have specific health concerns? How did she track you down? Can you verify that she's legit?
If she's legit, then you have some decisions to make. In some ways, this is like a closed adoption where a child tracks down a birth parent.
How you proceed is up to you. You need to think of your girls both now, and in the future. At the very least, get the information and put it away for the girls when they are old enough (if they ask). Also, get any information on medical issues (if any) that her son's have. Beyond that, do only what you are comfortable with.

We registered with our cryobank's sibling registry a couple of years ago, and haven't ever heard anything from anyone. It's really just so that the kids can decide what they want to do when they get older, particularly because their donor wasn't open. Unless you signed up with a registry, I'd be concerned about how she got your info.
